    Help, I am having problems in converting my stuff over to v1.2
    
    When I boot up using 1.2, I then put my 1.1 version of a cli disk
    in.  It goes thru the startup sequence until it comes to "NEWCLI"
    
    then, nothing. I tried newcli "CON:////" and anything else I could
    think of.  I then tried INSTALL on the disk, but no go. any
    suggestions?

    There is a utility called 'Update' that makes converting 1.1 disks
    to 1.2 very simple.  If you like, I can upload it here.

    Thanks anyway, I just came accross a better idea (Don't they always
    hit you at the wierdest times like oh.. 5:00 a.m.?)  I just recopied
    the entire c directory from 1.2 onto the disk I was having problems
    with.  
    
    BTW there are a few commands they don't give you in 1.2 that I had
    in 1.1 most notably the SAY command(o.k. so I like my amiga to talk
    to me on boot up...everyone else in the house thinks I'm crazy anyway)
    
    so you might want to check to make sure that all the commands you
    use are there/.

    'SAY' is still around, it has just been moved to the SYSTEM directory,
    like DISKCOPY and FORMAT.
