323.0. "MVP-Forth and I/O." by CESARE::ZABOT (Marco Zabot-Adv.Tech.mgr-Turin ACT) Fri Feb 13 1987 05:38
Let me hope there is at least one out there that uses Forth.
I've tried to buy J-Forth from Delta Research (CA) but they refused
to sell it to me BECAUSE I'M LEAVING in Italy, where the pirates are
still on the seas !!
So I'm forced to use MVP-Forth from Fish disk ### which is totally
lacking documentation. For standard forth, no problems, but with
Amiga extensions it's another story.
I'd like to address the PRINTER ( Epson) to produce hardcopy of the
original screens. No success.
What I've done so far is:
File0 from DF1:MVPAMIGA.SCR this is my input file
File1 from PRT: This is the output file
then I try:
: Print ( BufAdd Lenght --- N.bytes sent )
1 filehandle write ;
" Test string" print
It seams to work. Even the N. Bytes sent is correct. But the printer
does nothing. There is the usual activity on workbench disk when I do it
the first time ( Access to system config and driver ) but that's all.
HELP !! HELP !! HEEEEeeeeeelpppppppp !!
