ARC V2.0 has a serious bug. Beware!
The GURU appears at the completion of the first file extraction.
Although the file is successfully extracted, only the first file
is extracted before the GURU appears.
There is no particular advantage using V2.0 over V1.6.

Yeah, the same thing happened to me too. I'll continue to use 1.6
for now. I never had any problems with it in the past.
