The Feburary BYTE contains a "What's New" report of the C Ltd
disk controller and disk. The controller is a SCSI controller that
connects to the side of the AMIGA ( like many RAM boards ). As all
SCSI inferfaces it can control seven drives from the one controller.

This isn't cheap, but it is the best I have seen. Also in the
back of BYTE is a company called Computer Surplus Store that sells
a ST506 to SCSI controller for $79.

Not bad for 30MB of hard disk. You can get a 20MB drive for
