I've been reading about the HAM images on an Amiga with great interest. From the bits & pieces of info I've picked up I understand that a HAM image is a method of changes the color registors on the fly while an image is being scanned on the screen. What I don't quite understand is when the registors are changed. Does a HAM image change the color registors during horizontal retrace giving you a new set of 16 colors per scan line? Or do you somehow sync changing the color registors during the horizontal trace. If so, how is the syncing done? Dave
