254.0. "Low Priced Amiga" by TLE::RMEYERS (Randy Meyers) Sat Jan 17 1987 20:57

I thought that those of you who don't subscribe to comp.sys.amigia might
find this interesting.

This is a repeat of the price that 47th Street Photo had for the Amiga
last Summer during the free monitor sale from Commodore. They had raised
the price by about $150 after that sale went off.

Some people in the Photo Notes file had problems with 47th Street Photo
due to "gray market" cameras. However, I believe some people in the
ST notes file purchased their computers from 47th Street with no
problems. I would recommend asking there if you want more information.

254.1Are you sure that includes the monitor?TLE::ANDERSONMike AndersonMon Jan 19 1987 13:153
    Has anyone confirmed this price? In the NY Times ad for 47th St.
    Photo yesterday there was (I'm pretty sure) some fine print: "with
    purchase of monitor for $399" (or something like that).
