I live in the New York area and I've wanted to buy an Amiga for some time now but I can't seem to find a store who REALLY sells it. I have walked out in disgust from every store that I have gone to to find out about it. So if there is anyone out there who knows where I might find a bonafide Amiga retailer in the New York/New Jersey/Connecticut area who knows what he/she is talking about I'd appreciate hearing from you. Also does anyone know of any amiga users' groups in the New york area???? Thanks... -Ed

Ed, I got my amiga at a Family Computer store. The one I go to is located in the American Way shopping center off Rt. 46 in Fairfield N. J. The seem to have a lot of software in stock, have most of the Fish disks which you can copy for free if you buy your disks there and seem to be pretty knowledgeable. I think they also have two other stores - 1 in Orange N.J. and one around Paterson. They also show up at most of the computer shows in the area and give at least 10% discount off list price while there. Good luck, Ken |
