168.0. "SCRIMPER" by KAOM03::GOSLING () Tue Nov 11 1986 15:06
Has anyone out there used and had any luck with SCRIMPER, the
SCReen IMage to PrintER program which was used as a C tutorial in
AMAZING COMPUTING and was also on one of the AMICUS disks. I
installed it on the weekend and while it implies it builds a menu
of the open "screens", which you can then select and print, all I
ever end up with is a menu of 1 screen - the WORKBENCH SCREEN.
I've tried starting SCRIMPER up under both CLI and WORKBENCH, with
exactly the same result. I've also started it up after opening a
number of screens and before opening any screens, with exactly the
same outcome - still the 1 menu entry - WORKBENCH SCREEN.
The version that I have was acquired from the AMICUS disk and is
V0.6.
Help!

P.S. it does print the WORKBENCH SCREEN so something is working!

| It'll print the screen as it appears. Just click Workbench a couple
times. I haven't seen the menu work though!

| Thanks again Paul, your batting 1000 on solving my problems. I
guess I had anticipated that the program would have worked as
advertised, given that it was the basis for a tutorial - wrong!!
