I'd like to get some recommendations for a letter quality printer.
I would like one for less than $450 and preferably less than $300.
Two which might be suitable are the NEC Spinwriter elf 350 or the
Panasonic ???-3131. Does anyone have any experience with these or
others? I don't want to have to write any software to make this
work and I'd like it to do sub-superscript, underline, bold and
proportional spacing. Thanks for the help.

Gee, I don't know if you're still out there, but I'm surprised no
one answered this one.
My experience is only with an old LQP-01 connected to the serial
port of my A1000. The driver is provided with PREFERENCES of the
Workbench.

I ventured forth on my own and bought the Panasonic for $238 mail
order. I like it. Thanks for the reply.
