RE. -1
They should the replay of the guy hitting the wall during halftime
of the Lakers Blazers game. The game took place in Portland that
was the connection to the basketball game.
Reminded me of the movie "The Natural" when the rightfielder went
into the wall. Redford's character replaces the injured rightfielder,
and gets his big chance.

| Yeah, Scott, I saw that, too. What an incredible play - even if the guy
didn't hang on.
He went through that plywood wall and the wall simply exploded. The guy
was built like Albert Belle from Cleveland. One tough cookie.

Correction: Make that the *dead* rightfielder.
Bump Bailey, who was Memo Paris' boyfriend, crashed into the right
field wall and bit the dust. Roy Hobbs replaced him in both the
lineup and in the saddle with Memo Paris (Kim Basinger).

| From the slo-mo replay I saw, it didn't even look like the guy got the
glove on the ball. He's lucky he broke only his nose.

| Lynch's closing comment was something like "McCray plays
for the Vancouver Canadiens. From the way he hits the
boards, he might be playing for the Montreal Canadiens
next year."
I was rolling.

| When I first saw it I couldn't believe it, I was worried about the guy,
but once they said he was okay and showed it again and again, I
couldn't stop laughing.

to detach like it did?
Sheesh.

| They had the guy on the news out here (Portland affiliate). It was
great. Had his reaction to watching it. What a great reaction - hey
looks at it, goes "Ohhhh", then starts cracking up. Ha. Great fun.

include 13 appearances as a CF. Don't know how he migrated to the Houston

| As 158.8 or 158.9 mentioned, they showed McCray on TV
watching the replay of his collision with the wall.
He's watching with much attention and, after the collision
occurs, he turns and breaks into laughter.
No kidding about another fence/anchoring system/whatever
making a difference. If that thing hadn't given as it did,
he woulda been in real trouble.
