signed Marciulonis last season...I'll stop short of trading in my green
and white though until the Warriors take Arturas Karnishovas in the
1994 draft. :-)
Re .9, yeah no question the Warriors need Mullin to have any chance;
another topic reported that Mullin is expected to play in Game 2. Edge
"on paper" goes to LA no question, but I didn't expect the Warriors to
knock off the Spurs so who knows?

LA, they went into a tailspin the last few weeks. They were nowhere
near the Rocket team of early March.

knew about before the final was 57-49. I figured victory was

That game against Philly in Game 6 of the '80 finals was
the exception, but in that game he had some help(Jamaal Wilkes added
37 points). Seems like the last few times it's been Magic vs.
<insert opponent> instead of the Lakers vs .<insert opponent>.
They're much better off when he has more assists than points.

Don't know about the others but this one's still here. Can't say the
LA-GS series outcome was a surprise, although with a 3-point loss and
an overtime loss it was a more competitve series than the four games to
one total would indicate.

The reason a lot of us basketball fans haven't spent much time during
the regular season in here is that this conference doesn't have much
serious bball discussion until the playoffs. Seems like most of the
regular season discussions are along the lines of:
o Wilt vs. Russell (same old arguments rehashed again and again)
o Dean Smith: bball genius or misplaced Jiffy Lube greaser.

Laker_Ken probably saw my numerous dignified examples of substantial
NBA noting, and how all it ever did was inspire the Jihad and the Green
Dockers into spontaneous whining exhibitions about fixes, referees and
injuries and thought that all was rotten in the state of Sports. Yet I
always held out hope for your rotten souls, that you too could raise
your level of discussion and forget your Green background.
As we have seen, in some cases there is no hope. Yet the salvaged are
just cause for the efforts I have made.
