Tis a sad day indeed when the Celts loose the lakers and I can't even BLAM(tm)
the refs. Lakers did a great job on the boards that's where they won it.
Also Celts very lax on defense as Magic beat them about 6 or 7 times with
a high post to the opposite baseline cutter. Divac actually played physical
and Mychal had a career offensively and fustrated Mchale defensively. Shaw
was fairly effective defensively early against Magic. If only Jimmy Clang
had played and missed his usually 10 or 14 shots.... ;^)

Worst part is Mike, that Elway didn't beat them.
Actually, I knew the Giants were not going to do well against a real
team. Everyone got all excited about the Giants having won three in
a row. Well, they beat Seattle, barely beat Green Bay, and beat up
on Washington. Didn't get me excited. Nope....

Everybody keeps holding up the Skins as if they are some real team.
Their offensive line has been decimated by injuries. Rypien is as
out of sync as a V-6 running on four cylinders, and clearly their defense
is suspect.
I'll give the Giants this: it was probably their best victory of the year.
But for their other 5 victories, they were really nothing special. The
Green Bay game could easily have gone the other way also.

Yes, but they have been playing horribly. Their line, usually one of the
finest in the NFL, is patchwork at best, and they are wicked out of sync.
To me, it seems that Denver is building forward (especially their line,
which played really well) and Washington is still floundering around,
a highly unusual state for a Joe Gibbs coached team...

No CROW for me this week... I was perfect.
The Donks seem to be moving in the right direction, (as `Saw pointed
out) the line is playing well and the running game seems to be comming
around a bit. Elway all but put the Midgets away in the first half.
If the fact the Maddox came in a mopped up make you feel better,
Childs, so be it. Speaking of Maddox... He played well, much better
