| she's kind of enigmatic, IMO. her 1st effort was with a band called
"Wild Blue Yonder" (*real* weak, except for her). i've floated between
kinda liking her stuff to really hating it.
this one, i like ... then i hear some stupid the-world-has-sucked-in-
my-head-and-sucked-out-my-brain "xtian" DJ touting the fact that she
was some "Miss California" or some such rot, in an obvious attempt to
make her sound cool to the listening audience.
i figure if she's a regular at Calvary, she must be okay, but i'd like
to cold-cock that DJ.

| yeah, some songs like "Little Jackie" I didn't care for. I didn't know
about the beauty contest, but I think she has a Hispanic background. Her
past few CD's are also available with her singing in Spanish.
btw - She's now the weekly host of TBN's "Real Videos" program.
As for the DJ's, some of these stations are known to hire secular
people. I wish I had $5 for every "Christian" DJ that butchered a
*popular* CCM artist's name.

| She does much better than Crouch's son ever did. At least she had the
brilliant idea to have guest VJ's too. In the past couple months, I've
see these hosts giving their testimonies and playing some of their
favorite videos: Jars of Clay, Audio Adrenaline, Steven Curtis Chapman,
and the Newsboys.

| TBN is free here over the air waves. We don't have cable either. It's
a waste of money, unless you can pay $2/month and just get the sports
channels ;-)
