Can't believe it's been two years ... Twila Paris gave another great concert
last night at Gordon College (Wenham MA). I so much appreciate the passion
and excellence she brings -- and the "money's worth" of concert!

Avalon opened for her, but did only three songs up front and one later, plus
singing backup for her (along with Starla) all night. So, it was lots and
lots of Twila. Enjoyed Avalon very much, a talented foursome of two men and
two women with terrific voices; they were well received.

They were traveling with only 3 live musicians, two guitarists and a keyboard
player; the rest of the "band" was in the "box."

While this was the "Where I Stand" tour, and she sang many of the songs from
that project, "God Is in Control" was still the #1 favorite of the night.
She also sang her "Faithful Friend" duet with Steven Curtis Chapman (he was
on the video screen).

I've seen both before during the Young Messiah tour. Avalon also
guest-hosted TBN's Real Videos a few weeks ago.
