632.0. "'98 Yamaha's" by OTOOA::kap843.kao.dec.com::Lacaille () Wed Apr 16 1997 16:20

Yeah, I know I haven't been here in a while....shame on me, but I
have been busy!!!

Well, I spent most of the fall rebuilding the transmission on my
garden tractor...that, of course, cut into prep time for the snomo.
This found poor Charlie scrambling to revive his well used Exciter.

After a ring job, new track, clutch and carb work, I was ready for
the first annual, Ed's cottage and snowmobiling extravaganza...great
time...1000 klicks...3 days...mucho fun.

Well a couple of days later, after ignorant amounts of overtime, I
come home to find all my toys had taken a walk, Snomo, ATV, trailer,
Garden Tractor, and nephews dirt bike...ARRRRRGGGGHHHHH.

....two months go by....sulk...ponder....a summer is here...time to
forget about snowmobiling...NNOTT...

Last Saturday, dropped into to see my buddy Camil at the local Yammy
dealer. Told him my sad story and mentioned I might be in the market
for a slightly used two-up station-wagon type sled. The rotter handed
me the latest and greatest 1998 Sled brochure...hmmmmm...blue...gold
...fast...triple....bad sales rep.

...ponder ponder..fret...

Well, Tuesday morning saw me signing my name to a contract for a
spankin' new SRX600 triple triple...blue...gold...fast...hmmmmmm.

Lookout Rick...where ever you are...

Cheers,

IronMan(tm)

IronMan(tm), you hot shit, where the heck have ya been?

Are you telling me that *ALL* of your toys were STOLEN?
You didn't have any insurance on the toy chest? My god
man, that sucks! Do the cops have *any* leads at all?
Let's hope the bastards who ripped you eat $hi* and die.

So you're looking at some big iron, heh? Well let's
get together, put on the war paint and toast some trails.

First beer is on me and dipshit/nutbar Gary has to be
        there too.

    Okay Rickratt(tm), Ironman(tm),
Where do you wanna meet? I was thinking about a road trip to NH
this fall, to visit Dana, Bunky, etc. Or do you want to meet sooner,
     say somewhere this summer?

I'm in, just give me a place and a time.

    Later,
     Snowman

Rick,

Most of it was insured. My nephews dirty-bike was not, new XR100,
but that's the BIL's fault.

Gary/Rick...I'll be fairly busy this summer, but I'm always in for
road trip. Let me know if we can come up with a destination somewhere
in the middle of our geographies....Rick, do you know Rosie Molloy
and her hubby? That would be a good destination...haven't seen her
in a long time.

Must go for now, Exchange problems to fix...yikes,

Charlie

Rose works down stairs and John works in the same group
        as me, CSS.

Let's plan on doing this on the snow, anything else will
        be a plus.
