Glad to see some new replys in this file.
My ferret Mandy is still on the baby side, but every time i come across
her in the house, i pick her up, hug and kiss her, kind of a smother.
Sometimes she's more for it than others, but i've been told that if you
start to do this at a young age, the chances of them becoming more
cuddly as adults will increase. But then again they do have their own
    personality as well.

She has full roam of the house when we are home. She's always taking
naps on a small dog mattress we have (for the dogs), of course it's
like a triple king size bed for her. Sometimes I pick her up while
she's still half a sleep, and cuddle with her. Most of the time she
goes on sleeping and tends to snuggle when she wakes up.

My previous ferret which i had to put to sleep, wasn't to cuddly,
although Mandy is becoming more adapt to the cuddles. Let's see what
    happens...

Gumby keeps getting more affectionate as she get older. She's three
now and just loves kisses and scratches. She sleeps with either myself
or my son. She loves to curl up by your ankles and lick
you...unfortunately sometimes she give a little love bite on the leg
too (but it's always very gentle).

She's my baby and I don't know what I would do without her lovely
greetings every morning. She loves to stretch herself up my leg in the
morning and beg for me to pick her up and hug her.

Sable and Cain are both quite different with respect to cuddliness.

Sable is pretty good about being picked up and will come and "ask" me
to help her in some way - she wants to see the toilet flush [she hangs
on the edge of the seat and "spirals" watching the swirling water] -
she wants me to help her up on the bed [even though she can make it with
some minor difficulty] - she wants me to play tug-0-war... I'm sure
you get the idea. She is social and pretty agreeable to being handled.

Cain, on the other paw, will put up with being held for a few moments,
but does not seem to like it except rarely or if he is very sleepy. He
is still only 17 weeks [Sable is more like 26 weeks now] and in that
teenager stage. He will run away and does not generally care to have
assistance at getting into the tub or up somewhere [where he is allowed].

Cain is a real climber... I discovered he will climb my terry robe to the
top of my bedroom closet door so he can "leap" to the top of my dresser.
He will, after exploring, "leap" to my waterbed...

Both of them seem to get more affectionate when they sleep with me. The
first time this happened was when I was reading on my bed and they curled
up next to me [kinda under my left armpit]. I eventually fell asleep in
the middle of all this and woke up to Sable licking my cheek. Since then
they will sleep with my more and more frequently.

BTW, if it is under a sheepskin or other cover Sable also nips my feet and
ankles, but never in the open... I wonder what her rationalle is for that?

As for how they get along together, they fought a lot at first, then I felt
Cain [5+lbs] was beating up on Sable [2-lbs] so I would seperate them when
she was squealing. Since I have learned that she sets traps for him, initiates
the fight [really playing, I think] every time, and when I break it up she
goes right back for more. I don't usually interfere any more.

On the other hand, they sleep together in their cage, hiding spot [behind
my water bed] or beside/on me. In their cage they have a sleeping bag style
hammock. Yesterday I saw them "tucked in" in human style with only their little
arms and heads out from under the covers and cuddled back to back. Incredibly
cute but impossible to photograph.

I'm glad, too to see some more updates in here.
