1532.0. "PCM V1.6-311 hangs, then hangs system!" by CSC32::A_LICAUSE () Tue May 13 1997 13:51

    Using V1.6-311 of PCM on a dunix V4.0 system.

    When I bring up the GUI (console C3) it seems to take several minutes
    before the entire screen is painted. Then it can take 10-15 or more
    minutes before commands are recognized....usually just get the hour
    glass or wrist watch.

    Eventually it appears to hang the entire system or at least the session
    manager. I'm using the X11 session manager and not CDE.

    I am not seeing any errors generated.

    Any way to track this or get more iformation?

    Thanks,
    Al

    >>Is PCM running?

    It appears that it is attempting to run. The GUI is painted but no
    details nor are any command options displayed....so I can't walk
    down any menu paths.
