Hi, Is there a part number for PCM Alpha OpenVMS on 30-40 systems/devices? The part number that I can find is QL-2PCA9-AA which is a tranditional license. Can PCM for Digital UNIX manage VAX and Alpha OpenVMS hosts, HSJ and HSD controllers? Does PCM support Windows NT? Thanks, Patrick

In your case the customer will order one license for each system they want to manage. > Can PCM for Digital UNIX manage VAX and Alpha OpenVMS hosts, HSJ and > HSD controllers? Yes. Have you read the SPD yet? > Does PCM support Windows NT? Define support. Windows NT does not have a "console" thus you can't manage Windows NT systems from PCM. Also PCM does not run on Windows NT either. Regs, Dan | |||||

Software is being developed that will allow access to PCM from Windows NT. It's all part of the integration plan with CA-Unicenter TNG. This stuff is in Beta3 and is supposed to be demo'd at DECUS. Thats all I know at this point. REgs, Dan |
