I have acquired 1.7 as described in .1. As I have not seen any other
mentions of it in here, it seems it has not been widely installed
internally? If I install it, do you (Dan) give the same kind of support
as for 1.6, or does the fact that 1.7 is "pure" CA (is it?) make any
difference?

There's no difference in my eyes. If you uncover a new bug then I would
ask you to IPMT as always. Note that V1.7 and V1.6-400 are the same
code except for licensing.
