Hi! A customer complains and say that PCM doesn't work properly when connected to an Alpha 8200. He's running DUNIX 3.2G on the PCM system and on the monitored Alpha 8200. The console is connected through a DS900, using Telnet. The problem is that when the console cable is disconnected/reconnected or the system is rebooted, the console output get's messed up... There are just <LF>'s in the end of the line, no <CR>'s. Also, there's some <BEL>'s comming all the time. The only way to get PCM to act normal again is to do a reconfigure. He has tried the same thing on other, and older, DECstations without noticing the same problem. I've had a look at topic 827.* but I don't really recognice my problem in that topic, but I'm not shure. Any hints? /Staffan Malm @soo NSIS, Sweden

| 1503.1 | What version of PCM and Term Server? | CSC32::MEREOS | Mon Mar 24 1997 11:32 | 10 | |
What version of PCM? (need the minor version also)
You can get this with the console status command, its next
to ENS...
Also not a bad idea to post the terminal server port settings,
and the version of the terminal server software.
