Hi, My customer has a lot of problems with PCM under OVMS and DUNIX, the child process died. By the way,the question is: Is there a maximun number the consoles to define on PCM ?? Thanks for all, Arancha

Hi Arancha, "Is there a maximun number the consoles to define on PCM ??" PCM uses a licensing scheme which requires "100" units for each of its connected systems (excluding the PCM platform). So the first "limit" would be your license units. There is is no "real" architectural limit other than available resources (ie. "memory", "cpu bandwidth", etc.). I've heard that during initial design and testing that at least two hundred nodes were tested on a single PCM platform. Does that answer your question? Dennis | |||||
