I've two questions: 1) is it possible to uses PCM to control systems running VAXELN ? 2) I know that it's not the right place to ask that - the right conference is closed and write disable - but can somebody tell me if it's possible to 'drive' VAXELN systems with VCS (!). If somebody did it can he (she) give me some lights to know how to do. Thanks for helps.. Jean-Pierre

Jean-Pierre, PCM has no effect on the system being monitored. As far as that system is concerned it is still hooked up to a monitor/printer. So, if a VAXELN system uses a console you can use PCM. What do you mean 'drive' a VAXELN system (not with VCS, it's dead and replaced by PCM) Shaun | |||||

For 'drive' I mean manage as for other ono-VAXELN systems. Thanks for your answer. Jean-Pierre |
