1325.0. "Multi-line windows on Xcursion" by KETJE::MICHIELS (http://brsadv.bro.dec.com/) Tue Jun 18 1996 02:56

I'm currently working at a customer site, where we want to display
a multi-line eventlist of Console Manager V1.6-201 on a PC with Xcursion
V2.1.

These multi-line windows seem to appear in black and white.
I tried the C3, and there the icons change color when new events appear.

A few years ago, I encountered something similar, with VCS and MACX.
The multi-line windows of VCS appeared also in B&W on a Macintosh
with MACX, but with the help of notes, we detected that putting the
server value on 2 when creating a display, solved the problem.

So I tried:

$ CONSOLE EVENTLIST /SERVER=2 /...etc
(and I tried also with values 1 and 3)

but this does not seem to work. The eventlist doesn't appear anymore!

Is this a PCM problem or an Xcursion problem, or a combination of both?

Anybody who has some experience with a similar situation?

Thanks and regards,

Johan

    Below a log file I've found in CONSOLE$TMP.

    Do I have to take this to the eXcursion notes conference, of is this
    more likely a PCM problem?

    Thanks and regards,

    Johan
