Dear All, I've looked through the "PCM user guide","Installation guide" and the notes conference, and can't find the answer to this question. After upgrading to PCM 1.6 from VCS 1.4 on a VAX, is it possible to use PCM to review log files created by VCS ? There only appears to be conversion utilities for the "configuration" database and nothing for the actual log files. Is it possible to use a PCM review command with a specific switch that would allow me to read the old log files Regards Martin Roome VMS Specialist CSC, Basingstoke.

No, it's no possible. VCS doesn't have to be running for you to use the review command. All you have to do is define the logical VCS$ALL_NODES to the list of systems in the config. You can then review all you want. Regards, Dan | |||||
