Dear Readers, I have a customer that has an ALPHA 8400.. He is trying to monitor the console port and determine when the ALPHA is powered off by using the dsr signal using 'signal check' at the DS700 terminal server. How can we get an 8400 running Digital Unix to toggle the dsr signal on the console port? (from our observations, its always off/low...) CAN THIS BE DONE? John, Have you posted this question in the turbo-laser conference? Also, does the 8400 toggle any signal? If it does then you could make up a customer cable that jumpers DSR with the toggled signal. Regs, Dan | |||||
