1274.0. "Order of events in extracted archive log" by WOTVAX::WATSONR (Lambs... so cute... but so tasty !) Fri Apr 19 1996 10:39
I know I've seen this somewhere before, but I can't find it with 'dirs/tit's.
Is there some reason why, when I do a 'console extract', the extracted
information does not come out in the exact order in which the console
information occurred ?
We're trying to debug a system crash on a system that has a PCM console. I've
used the 'console extract' to get the console logs for the customer, but
they are not in strict order (for example, login failure security alarms
occuring in the log half way through the crash dump).
Is this a 'feature' or is it some mis-configuration on my part ?
Thanks
Ross
