| This is not a bug. What you are seeing is the date stamp of the last
record seen from the system you are currently VIEWing.

| Dan,
Can you explain a little more please?
From what I understand from the customer, he in monitoring ALL
systems, and only gets yesterdays data, then a message comes from
one of the monitored systems, all todays data is displayed, but
with the wrond date. An extract does not work either. He can only
extract yesterdays data.

| >He monitors several ELN machines continuously, since last upgrade (127->207)
>the Monitor status bar of certain machines (not always the same) doesn't
>display the current date. f.e. today we are the 18-APR but it displays
>17-APR.
The status bar displays the date of the most current data received. If
todays the 18th and the date-time stamp of the most recent data is
the 17th then thats the date displayed in the status bar.

| Dan,
The customer forwarded the following remark this morning.
When he has problems with monitoring, he has the problem with some
nodes, not always the same. He restarted CM yesterday and the
problem went away. Today he has the problem while monitoring an
other system. He found out that, when he has the problem, the
controller_01 process has NO channel to the events, times and log
file of THAT system. Restarting CM helps again.

| Hi Dan,
The problem occured several times since the last reply.
Each time they checked using SDA the channels of the Console Ctrl process and indeed the channels to the
log, times and events files were missing for that particular node.
Restarting PCM correct the problem.
There is apparently nothing special that can trigger the problem
Now, what could be the problem ?
Quota, parameters or is it IMPT time ?
Best regards,
Alain.

| Alain,
Thanks for the update. Another site has reported this problem and
has found that it's induced by doing an Archive!!! They found
several of the systems logfiles were left closed after an archive was
performed! There is no particular pattern to which systems logs
are left closed. This sounds exactly like your problem. Go ahead and
IPMT it so that it is properly reported.

Dan

| Hi Dan,
Has this something to do with the IPMT CFS_39998 ?
Best regards,
Alain.
