Hello,
I'm running PCM V1.6-100 on DIGITAL UNIX V3.2C (Rev. 148).
The hardware is alphastation 250 4/266 128Mb memory.
If I shut down PCM I can't start it again without
rebooting the box. Also, sometimes I cannot connect to consoles
that are on some decservers. (I use LAT for connections). This
also requires a system reboot to fix.
After I try to restart PCM, the following is in
/var/opt/console/tmp/CONSOLE_PARENT.LOG
Unable to create/map shared memory section
Console Manager shutting down at user request
POLYCENTER Console Manager
Console Controller Daemon Version V1.6-100

Hi I've been running into the same problem, but I noticed that however I start console manager, the consoled dies. It seems to go for about 10 seconds before going away... I just put the ECO 2 on to see if it made a difference and it didn't. I've tried re-installing and no difference...any suggestions, any problems with using V3.2d of OSF and v1.6 of pcm?
