1240.0. "PCM cannot see all machines in the network" by 23232::AKKAMON () Thu Mar 14 1996 05:21

Dear all,

I am totally new to the PCM, unfortunately I was assigned to look into
the customer problem. The problem is that his PCM cannot see all the
machines in the network, just some of them are shown. And once he double-
clicks into that machine (shown on the windows), he cannot edit or scroll
within the editor at all. This is a serious issue for us because the
customer refuse to sign the US$ 2M invoice.
Would you please give me some ideas why this happened? Or please let
me know if you need more info.

Best regards,
akkamon

Well we need a lot more info from you. Have all the machines been
conffigured into PCM? Does he have sufficient license units for all the
systems in the configuration? The system he connected to: was it an
OpenVMS system or what? If so, did he do a SET TERM/INQUIRE when he
logged in? Did he do a SET TERM/NOEIGHTBIT when he logged in?

    Regards,
       Dan
