1233.0. "System Process parameters for PCM." by 17576::HARRIS_M () Tue Mar 12 1996 08:35

    Hi,

     Quick question.. I'm configuring PCM V1.6 for OVMS ALPHA V6.2 on a
    Alpha station 200. I've got 13 nodes currently under PCM control and
    It seems that when I reached the 6th /7th node to be configured under
    PCM I had to bump up some system quotas. Is there any system parameter
    settings or formulas that one can use to set these parameters ahead of
    time, rather than having to bump them up when requested (process quota
    exceeded) by PCM. It seems that I've had to bump up the bytlm/prclm/
    pgflquo parameters to 2-3 times their default values.

    			Thanks,

    Matt,
      There is no formula per se. I'm assuming you had to do this for the
    account that runs the C3 as the ENS and line-controller daemons have
    their own set of quotas that they are started with. I find that a
    BYTLM quota of 150,000 and a PGFLQUOTA of 50,000 allows the C3 to work
    fine even in the largest config. Of course you will need to adjust
    PRCLM to accomodate the desired concurrent number of CONNECT/MONITOR
    /SET HOST windows. You need 2 subprocesses per window.
