1218.0. "Security on Telnet Listener Port" by 50217::PUCHER () Wed Feb 28 1996 09:53
Hallo friends,
one year ago BYSTAM asked in note 509 how to secure a tsv port. The answer was: No way.
Now I was asked from a customer of mine the same question. His fear is:
If you got the port, transmit a break, boot DUNIX in single user mode and the system is yours...
Should I also answer the customer: Bad luck?!
Has anyone an idea what I can answer else??
Beg your pardon for my English!!!
Achim
