1183.0. "Suggestions for a robust PCM configuration?" by 36437::MICKOL (UNY Tech Support [716.436.2565]) Mon Feb 05 1996 09:48
A customer of mine is planning to implement PCM to manage 10 systems/devices
initially (VAXes and HSJ/HSCs). They have asked us for recommendations to
provide a robust PCM configuration. I have looked through this notes conference
and found a few suggestions (clustered PCM systems, isolated PCM LAN, etc.).
Below is my current thinking, but I wanted to get feedback from those of you
out there that have customers monitoring mission-critical systems. Please
offer any feedback or suggestions you can from your real-life experiences.
Thanks.
