| Domenico,
We've still got some outstanding issues with Archive hangs etc. We
also had some issues in V1.5 that are fixed in V1.6 . In some cases it
was necessary to rename the logfiles for a particular node and then
restart the software so the line controllers could create new ones. I
would doing the latter for the problem node and just putting the
current logfiles inthe archive location so that if someone did
want to look at them in the near future.
Regs,
Dan

1165.2 | V1.6-201 console archive still having problems | 54831::STEUKERS | | Mon Mar 25 1996 04:23 | 163 |
| Hi,
The following archive was done on PCM V1.6-201 on data produced by the V1.6-125 release.
It ran well for quite a while but the suddenly crashed.
Will try to redo this kind of test when V1.6-201 runs for some more time, with
PCM files generated by V1.6-125 itself.
Erik.

| Erik,
Please do the following on the PCM engine:
$ INSTALL REMOVE CONSOLE$IMAGE:CONSOLE$ARCHIVE
$ SET PROCESS/DUMP
Now do you CONSOLE ARCHIVE command and reproduce the ACCVIO. You will
now have a CONSOLE$ARCHIVE.DMP in the current directory. Please make
this file available for copying.
Regards,
Dan

| Hi,
Because I cleaned up the PCM logfiles area I was unable to reproduce
the fault on fresh V1.6-201 files.
I also have an Alpha PCM testmachine where there was still old data and I was
able to reproduce the fault over there
