Hello, I pulled across the OSF_125_tar.Z patches that cure the problems with non printable ascii characters in messages causing the event windows to not print messages, but now find that I cannot use the watch facility. I have tried setting the watch facility up from the command line using the command: console -w -o /dev/tty03 ALL the response is: Please Wait: PolyCentre console Manager Watch facility version V1.6-125 Copyright (etc) #no device for watch operation specified and with the C3 interface, I get a message in the dxconsole stating that my printer device is not in the current config database!. It seems to think my printer port is a system!. When I revert to version 1.6 eco 1, I get the watch facility back again, but lose the event window messages when they are preceded by non-printing ascii characters. f Any suggestions? Regards, Andrew System is OSF 3.2C

Further to my note .0, I have also found that the ENS connection is now very unreliable. If I stop PCM from the -C3 interface 'shutdown PCM' command, and then restart it, the ENS refuses to reconnect. The only way to recover from this state is to reboot the system that is running PCM!. Andrew |
