The SPD for PCM 1.6 does not list a MicroVAX II as being a supported processor. Is this just a case of not being tested or does it not work? Thanks, John

The SPD does not list any systems that we have not tested against, it's against legal policy to do so. However, if you are setting the MicroVAX II up as a managed system, it just has to meet the criteria (RS232C line, serial port, XON/XOFF, I/O buffering...). If you are using it as the server, it has to be running the correct version of the operating system. If it meets these criteria, then you should be fine using it. Please keep us posted. |
