1108.0. "random ctrl-p's" by 45769::PACK_J (Cloud Base is heaven) Wed Nov 22 1995 08:07

    I have a PCM V1.6 installation VMS6.1/VAX

    We have three times now expericence a crtl-p going to a VAX6000 and
    stopping the VAX6000's

    The first ctrl-p was when we shutdown PCM

    The second was when the PCM node crashed

    The third was whilst doing an edit on OPA0 though PCM.

    Anyone seen this, got any ideas whats going on or how we can fix it?

    Were there any other garbage characters in the data stream that would
    indicate line noise? Are you running DIALOG commands that have a
    SEND <ctrl-P> to these systems?

    RE: line noise.

    We have no idea as when the node crashed and when PCM was shutdown all
    we saw was the node at the >>>'s.

    We can't check PCM logs as in both case's they we not running. (I
    looked!)

    No DIALOG commands, clues?
