1064.0. "When does the C3 get saved?" by 42441::HAWLEYI (Here's 10p. Phone a man who cares!) Thu Oct 26 1995 11:12

Quick question:

Could anyone tell me whether the C3.DAT file is saved EVERY time you logout or
whether it is saved after it has been modified. If you turn off editing for
non-privileged users, does it still save it when they logout?

Thanks in advance,

Ian.

    The file is saved only if you either save it from the menu or when you
    exit and the select to save the settings from the popup box that
    appears. The latter *only* happens if you have modified something.
    If a user has no priviledge to edit the C3 then it won't save it. There
    is a buglet here though. The main screen doesn't disable the
    Interactive/Edit toggle button so they can still muck with the display
    however they can't save it. You also notice that if you are using
    groups that the group displays do indeed have the Interactive/Edit
    button disabled.
