Hi,
One customer has been through a problem with PCM 1.6 , with ARCHIVE Function.
ARCHIVE is started via EVENTs filtering like CMgr Disk Critical or CMgr Disk
Warning.
The last execution of the ARCHIVE did not end for one system and failure
messages have been sent.
Unfortunately the customer has not saved the console$tmp contents and he has
restarted all the stuff ( I mean PCM itself).
When it appeared that the ARCHIVE opeartion did not end, the process
Console Ctrl 01 was in LEF state and of course none of these commands
gave an answer :
- console monitor the_system
- console extract ...
- console connect ...
So Console Ctrl 01 was "stopped/id".
This sort of problem seems to have been reported previously ( ARCHIVE not
successful and process ctl in LEF ).
So the main question is : what about this problem and its eventual correction ?
More than that, may I ask this question :
Is there another ECO kit in preparation for PCM 1.6 ???

| We have a potential solution for this problem. Once enough fixes have
been gathered to justify another kit it can be created.
