1034.0. "Access violation for PCMV1.6-100" by 22530::EDMONDLEUNG () Thu Oct 12 1995 07:07

    Hi,

    One of our potential customers has tried to install the PCMV1.6 onto
    the Alpha 1000 running OVMS V61.1-H2 with some other Polycenter
    software. This customer is using a X-terminal to run the PCM instead
    on the console monitor. There is no problem during the installation and
    the IVP has been successfully complete. However, when the customer try
    to run the C3 command, they have encountered the followings:

    Can anyone provide suggestions what cause this problem? Will it cause
    by the X-terminal or others? The problem seems like the one mentioned
    on note 973. One more thing, there is no different whether install the
    ECO1 or not. Same result has been obtained.

    Thanks for any help in advance.

1034.1Any suggestions on this problem?22530::EDMONDLEUNGMon Oct 16 1995 07:3310
    Hi,

    Has anyone encountered the same problem like this before? I am sure
    there is nothing wrong about the kit because I've tried to install it
    on one of our Alpha system in our office and it worked. I think there
    are some environments setup on the X-Terminal so that the customer can
    run the C3 on this X-Terminal. However, I don't know why the IVP can
    run successfully. Pls any suggestions are truly apprieciated.

    Thanks.
