    Hello,
    
       I'm not sure who would be interested in resolving this but a
    customer and I have found a minor problem in the KITINSTAL of
    CONSOLEECO1016 that would apply to both VAx's and AXP's. 
    
    One of the first things the kitinstal does is restore CONSOLE.DECW$BOOK
    to the directory CONSOLE$ROOT:[BOOKS] and then later on checks whether
    PCM is running to continue the instalation. This means that if you do
    not have P.C.M. running the instalation fails with a INSTALL-E-BADSPEC
    error because the logical CONSOLE$ROOT doesn't exist.
    
      Perhaps the lines that restore files should be moved down the
    kitinstal.com to be certain that P.C.M. is running.
