913.0. "Success with VMS 6.2 ?" by 52336::STRATMAN (Peter Stratman @VBO) Wed Aug 09 1995 06:10

I'd be interested to know whether people have been using V1.6-110
on VMS V6.2 with success. Console Monitor seems to be broken
completely since my customer upgraded. The C3 freezes from time to
    time too.

    Thanks,
    Peter.

Regarding the Monitor problem I mentionned:

WHat happens is that monitor starts up all right, I can scroll up and
down. As long as I'm using the next screen and previous screen keys
quickly enough (like once a second), it works. But if I stop my input
for more than a couple of seconds, my process goes into HIB, and will
not accept anything else but ^Y to get out of this state.

It looks like if I'm at the end of the console output when the
programs stops accepting keyboard input, console data will continue
to display as it comes in. If I'm further "up", the screen freezes
   completely.

   Peter.

Is this an AXP or VAX? I thought your last note indicated that it's an
AXP? Also, is it possible to access your system so I can see the
problem and use SDA to analysze whats going on?

Dan,

This is a customer's system (in France), and it won't be easy to get to it,
although they are on AES, so you might go through there.

Is there anything I can do to get you the info you need by mail ?

Thanks,
Peter.
