    Any known problems with 1.5a PCM, ENS dies. No core dumps.  Just dies. 
    Customer states that he's not really doing anything when this happens. 
    
    This is on ultrix so is there a 1.5b that addresses this issue?

Hi,

  We know of no problems in this area. There was a MUP for V1.5 which
  your customer should install, however, I dont know if it will address
  this issue.

  Your customer should consider migrating to Alpha and V1.6 of PCM as the
  ULTRIX version of the product is no longer going to be enhanced etc.

    I assume though that if the mup doesn't address this problem,
    engineering will take a look at it thru an IPMT case?
    I doubt if we can convince this customer to go out and buy an alpha to
    use as a PCM station when he has a perfectly good risc box that do the
    job just fine!!!!

    Cathy,
      You will not get an answer from Phil because he is no longer with the
    company. As of last writing there were going to be no more enhancements
    to the Risc Ultrix code but it would be maintained so I would gather
    all the info you can and IPMT it.
