We are running CM V1.5 with the latest MUP applied to a RISC/ULTRIX V4.4 system running the korn shell for user accounts. Two problems: 1) When we issue the # console -m jumbo command, the PREVIOUS and NEXT scroll keys do not work. Why? These same keys work when running the same software on our VMS V6.1 cluster. Moreover, the DOWN and UP commands also seem to work on the RISC/ULTRIX system. 2) If I TELNET into the RISC/ULTRIX system, I cannot perform a # console connect jumbo because of a lack of privileges. Yet, the console manager editor profile has all options enabled for this user. However, if I log into the RISC/ULTRIX system locally under this same user name, I can connect to the remote system jumbo just fine. Why is the TELNET remote connection denying me console connect access? Please advise. \Thanks in Advance

False alarm on problem 2 - the remote TELNET connect does indeed work - my apologies. However, problem #1 is still unresolved - can anyone help? \Thanks | |||||

Tom, I cant answer your question, it would appear that you have either not got your terminal setting right, or there is a bug in the Monitor interface. If you decide that it is the latter, I am afraid that you will have to submit an IPMT to get it resolved, we can no longer work on the source code for the product as our development hardware has been shipped to Israel ready for the new support team to start work.
