878.0. "Corrupt CONSOLEMANAGER logfiles" by DARGLE::COUGHLAN () Wed Jul 19 1995 13:22
I'm running PCM 1.6 on VAX/VSMS 6.1 at a customer site. Twice in the last two
weeks, the logfiles for CONSOLEMANAGER itself have become corrupt. When I run an
extract of the logfiles, including TIMES, I do not get half the information
which is displayed from the event history option on the C3 interface. When I
verify the files, test 1 fails. I renamed the CONSOLEMANAGER logfiles and
restarted PCM but a week later, the exact same thing occurred.
I have tested this on a system internally and when I verfiy the CONSOLEMANAGER
logfiles on this system, they also fail test1. Is this a known problem which
will be fixed in the ECO or should I IPMT this.

| Dave,
log an IPMT please. this is not fixed in the ECO and we need
to ensure it gets looked at by the new support team in Israel.
