851.0. "Change to amount of BYTLM needed under 1.6?" by SNOOTY::HAWLEYI (Mr Flibble says: Game over boys) Tue Jul 04 1995 15:48
My customer has just gone up to 1.6 of PCM to get rid of the ACCVIO
from console extract problem. He tells me that under 1.5 he could open
umpteen sessions and MONITOR screens without any problems at all, he
had a BYTLM of 32000 back then. With 1.6 the customer could only open 3
monitor screens before he started getting PCM crashing out with:
SYSTEM-F-EXBYTLM, exceeded byte count quota
We upped his BYTLM to 200000 and he can now get about 11 but he is
concerned as to why this has occured. Also, he still needs even more
than that. Is anyone else aware of this change?
Thanks in advance,
Ian.

I've just tested and reproduced this. It requires about 14000 bytlm
per monitor session. Also 2 process slots.
