Regina, First of all, I suggest that you obtain a copy of the documentation. You can use either bookreader or get a copy and print it. The location and files are: Directory OPG::DISK$TOOLS:[CM.DOCS] PCM_V15A_COVER_LETTER.PS;1 524 15-DEC-1994 19:09:19.00 PCM_V15A_RELEASE_NOTES.PS;1 146 15-DEC-1994 18:35:54.00 PCM_V15_COVER_LETTER.PS;23 73 31-MAY-1994 12:37:49.00 PCM_V15_INSTALL.PS;2 805 31-MAY-1994 11:02:17.00 PCM_V15_RELEASE.PS;1 557 31-MAY-1994 11:03:23.00 PCM_V15_SPD.PS;1 158 31-MAY-1994 10:58:36.00 PCM_V15_USER_GUIDE.PS;2 23533 1-JUN-1994 09:30:09.00 Briefly, you will have to define an event and declare the text pattern to be "PROBLEM". The next step is to associate the event with an action routine, which in your case appears to mail. This is called a filter. Within the filter definition, you must declare the mail address, which is called user data. After this, you must reconfigure to activate the changes. When this event is detected, the C3 icon will change color and you will be able to examine the event details. This notes file is not really the proper place to teach how to use the product, so the best advice I can give is to study the documentation. Cheers, Dave

Regina, As an alternative for the location Dave gave you, if you look in the same location that you got the V1.6 kit you will see the V1.6 documentation. Cheers, Phil

I think you will find that the CONSOLE.PS file in the CM$DOCS: directory is what you are after. Cheers, Phil |
