| James,
What version of OpenVMS are you on and what platform (VAX or Alpha)?
Cheers,

| I have exactley the same problem on VMS 6.1 on VAX. I was running an earlier
version of PCM but the latest kit T1.6-031 installed correctly but you get this
error when starting the C3.

| Hi,
this is a slight silly with VAX only. We have amended the startup
such that it will install the images if they were not already.
It is on OPG::cm$ftkit:console$startup.com
Cheers Simon...

My system is:

DECwindows Motif Version 1.2-3 for OpenVMS
VAXstation 3100/GPX
I tried a reboot, no joy.
Ideas?

803.5 | works fine on my system | DARGLE::COUGHLAN | | Tue Jun 13 1995 14:59 | 8 |
| The new startup file worked fine for me. You don't need to reboot, just restart
PCM. Are you sure your startup procedure executed the correct PCM startup file ?
Check the loaction of your PCM startup file and ensure you activate the latest
one referred to in -1.
Regards,
Dave.

I'm glad it all works for you now, its amazing what happens when
you install images which should already be installed for you by
OpenVMS ;-)
Cheers,
Phil
