CW,

------------- low impact -------------------------------------------------

When creating a new system with T1.6-009, the chosen icon is displayed correctly
on the local display but reverts to a generic icon on my X display (DEC 3000
running OpenVMS or OSF).

The c3 message logs reveals...

Thu Jun 8 16:53:29 1995: Cannot load bitmap file ?, using default

Thanks Tim

This was fixed in the next FT kit.

Cheers simon...

This was fixed in the future?

Isn't -009 the 30-May kit? Is there a newer one, or are you referring to a
"work in progress". (I notice that new docs but no kit is in
OPG::DISK$TOOLS:[CM.FTKIT])

Sorry if I'm a little dense, but I've just returned from a holiday and have
been passing kits to the customer and bug reports back to you without
paying a lot of attention to either....

CW,
   there was a newer kit on the net until a couple of days ago. We
are now preparing the Pre-SSB kit. It was due to be put up yesterday,
but we discovered an issue we are no resolving.

Cheers Simon...
798.4bitmap problem still in T1.6-031CERN::HOBBSDial "M" for dyslexiaThu Jun 15 1995 15:5748

CW,

1) For the two new systems that I created, I still get the c3 message...

Thu Jun 15 14:51:03 1995: Cannot load bitmap file ?, using default
Thu Jun 15 14:51:03 1995: Cannot load bitmap file ?, using default

the icon is correctly displayed on the local display. This problem was reported
in
the previous version

2) this is more of a request...

I would like to be able to

$ console edit /inter=char show terminal_server /full /out=connections.lis

from a batch job (DECscheduler)

This would enable me to get a current list of connections (56) into a .html file.

Does anyone know how I can do this via a procedure ?

Thanks Tim

cw,

  I have just asked the C3 maintainer to look at your C3 icon problem.

  As for the other, have you tried...

$ Define/User sys$output ts.lis
$ CONSOLE EDIT/INTER=CHAR
SHOW TERMINAL
F

QUIT
$

    Tim,

        There are only two things that I can think of that would cause this
    problem. Do you have tke 'overide PCM icon' pushbutton set? Is PCM
    shutdown? Since your icon bitmap filename is set to "?" due to a
    previous bug, that is why you might be seeing this.

    I'll try to duplicate your problem today.

    In the meantime, to get rid of the problem, you can edit the C3
    resource file (console$c3.dat file (VMS) or .consolec3rc (Unix)).
    You can substitute the '?' with the real name of the bitmap filename.
    The icon filenames can be found in either console$icons:*.xbm (VMS)
    or /usr/var/kits/console/icons (Unix).
