794.0. "Non-root "console -e" refuses to work" by TISWAT::han (Questions raise the doubt) Wed Jun 07 1995 17:05
I'm using V1.6-009 on Digital UNIX V3.2B freshly installed last week.
It seems that none of the non-root users can use the 'console' command,
because the protection (-r-sr--r--) does not allow execute access for
group or others.
Even if I fix that users that have been defined with all privileges can
still only work in read-only mode. It's very possible that I'm
doing something wrong since this is my first hands-on experience
with PCM.

| A slip up on my part when I put the kit tree together. Fixed in the
next kit. Thanks anyway.
Cheers Simon...
