Hi, A customer intends to purchase both software license, media and hard copy documentation for Polycenter Console Manager for OpenVMS AXP. Apparently there is no part number for PCM hardcopy doc. According to the SPD description and SOC, QA-MU1AA-GZ ( PCM sw doc. for U/R) is the only available orderable part number. Is this the right part number to order for all O/S and different platforms ? Appreciate any advise on this. Thanks & regards, Mui Choo

Hi, there is only one part number for the Hardcopy Docs for PCM as they are commeon to all the platforms (save costs etc). The media for the different platforms vary, on the OSF/1 and OpenVMS AXP platforms the software is supplied on the ConDist. For OpenVMS VAX and ULTRIX (ULTRIX only upto V1.5) there are some traditional media part numbers as well as the Condist. The Capacity and Concurrent Use licenses also have different part numbers depending on the platform. So with respect to the base note the part number QA-MU1AA-GZ will provide the correct Hardcopy docs regardless of platform. Cheers Simon... |
